The powder flow test funnel is primarily used to evaluate the flowability (dry flow rate) and apparent density (bulk density) of rotomolded polyethylene (PE) powders. Decades of experience have shown that PE powders need to have acceptable dry flow and bulk density properties to be handled and rotomolded. The device is made to the standards of the Oceania Rotomolding Association and the American Rotomolding Association.
